"Goozmo", a local Boulder based website template builder, has once again become its own menace. To many bugs are in the system and to few people run the show. A local company (wants its name kept from the public so their site wont break again) had its website up for more than 5 months; everything seemed to be working perfectly and then "blamo" the portfolio, which was the key part of the sites operation died. Over and over again the Goozmo customer was told that everything would be fixed, then they were told it must be the clients fault it was broken. On and on and on this went. Finally 38 days later the problem was fixed. To bad "Goozmo", 38 days is way to long. Trust me; it's time to move on, and get a new custom site built.
Crash and burn is what sounds this Manrta.
Best wishes and good luck to the "Goozmo" team.

Mile High Sports Magazine, brutal...
Talk about a company that needs the Freelancers Black List to set them free, Mile High Sports Magazine of Denver Colorado has got to be one of the worst companies in the world to work for according to freelance artists and photographers across Colorado. This company seems to go out of its way to capitalize on the good names and work of the local market. We have received complaints of them not paying artists in full, using their work without permission, paying way below market value, and flat out just not treating them right. You can afford not to work with company.

If you do business with DotforDot, stop...
I have been amazed at the amount of work that is in Boulder Colorado for professional photographers. A good photographer can make a great living wherever he or she lives in the US, but Boulder is special. Boulder has a good mix of tech companies, food companies, and many more professional companies that take pride in hiring local talent. This is great for the local community and the local photography talent.
There is one little catch, because the photo market is lucrative the photographers are highly competitive. When the competition starts, greed kicks in and the local Boulder photographers harm the community.
The perfect example is the competitive nature of Jon and Rob from the company Dot for Dot, in downtown Boulder. They have been more than disturbing to the local Boulder photo market. Several local photographers have had their entire careers altered because of these two guys. They became so greedy that they started smear campaigns against other photographers and professionals. These smear campaigns consisted of rumors within the Boulder photo client base but also within the professional photography communities. It was purely an unethical move and was and completely destructive to the Boulder photography community, several photographers in Boulder were affected by this smear campaign, if you do business with DotforDot stop, and think about it.
