If you do business with DotforDot, stop...

I have been amazed at the amount of work that is in Boulder Colorado for professional photographers. A good photographer can make a great living wherever he or she lives in the US, but Boulder is special. Boulder has a good mix of tech companies, food companies, and many more professional companies that take pride in hiring local talent. This is great for the local community and the local photography talent.

There is one little catch, because the photo market is lucrative the photographers are highly competitive.  When the competition starts, greed kicks in and the local Boulder photographers harm the community.

The perfect example is the competitive nature of Jon and Rob from the company Dot for Dot, in downtown Boulder. They have been more than disturbing to the local Boulder photo market. Several local photographers have had their entire careers altered because of these two guys. They became so greedy that they started smear campaigns against other photographers and professionals. These smear campaigns consisted of rumors within the Boulder photo client base but also within the professional photography communities. It was purely an unethical move and was and completely destructive to the Boulder photography community, several photographers in Boulder were affected by this smear campaign, if you do business with DotforDot stop, and think about it.
